Ooooof. “Oh look,” thought I a couple of weeks ago, “a Sunday afternoon matinee in The Garden. That’ll do nicely.”
Bloody Fringe Family Day, innit?
Remember how I (repeatedly) described how I hate crowds? Yes. Well. Not a Happy Petee today, let me tell you. And I got bloody sunburnt. Harrumph.

Charlie Pickering. What a brilliant idea that was – oh no, there’ll be no crowds for his final show, on a Sunday night in The Garden, with a public holiday tomorrow and a stream of people coming up from WOMADelaide. No crowds at all, nosiree.
Clearly I’m not thinking straight.
Pete, baby, darling….if you hate crowds, avoid the Garden. And for gawds sake put sunscreen on, with your fair skin you’ll fry in no time! Now, if you attempt the Garden again, I can personally recommend the Gothic Punch & Judy, on at 10.00 (or is it 10.30?) every night. I haven’t laughed so much in ages, very politically incorrect. What a shame about Blood, sounds like it should have been a tour de force…and wasn’t. Poor actor! Kisses, from Cabbage Jo (and no, you don’t have to be nice to me in your response now, if you don’t like something or someone you should say so).
Hi Jo! No problems on the Gothic Punch & Judy recommendation; it was my third show of the year! It feels so long ago, now ;)
Regarding the “being nice” thing… ha ha haaa, that’s always a tricky one, isn’t it? I’m always happy when friends do well, but tend to tip-toe around a little when they rub me the wrong way. I think of it as a writing challenge! :P
